Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all quotes, agreements and services provided by Webotrix in web design, hosting, SEO and online marketing. Questions? Feel free to get in touch.
Scope
By accepting a quote from Webotrix, you agree to these terms and conditions. They apply to all projects and services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Quote & formation of the agreement
Every project starts with a quote describing the scope, price and delivery timeline. The agreement is formed once you approve the quote in writing (email is sufficient). Changes to the agreed scope are only carried out after your approval.
Deposit & payment for the project
Upon approval of the quote, we request a deposit of [to be completed: percentage]% of the total price. Work begins once this deposit is received. The remaining balance is invoiced upon delivery, unless the quote specifies a different payment schedule.
Client cooperation
For your project to run smoothly, we need your input in a timely manner: copy, images, feedback and approvals. Delays caused by late input may shift the delivery timeline.
Hosting & ownership
Your website is hosted on [to be completed: hosting platform]. Until the project is paid in full, the website remains the property of Webotrix.
After full payment, ownership of the website transfers to you, [to be completed: unless an ongoing hosting or maintenance subscription states otherwise].
Domain name
A domain name registered by Webotrix on your behalf is set up under your name and contact details. You may manage it yourself or transfer it to another provider at any time.
Changes & work outside the quote
Changes that fall outside the original quote are billed at [to be completed: hourly rate]. We always inform you in advance when a request falls outside the agreed scope, so you can decide whether you want it carried out.
Copyright
The design and code of your website remain the intellectual property of Webotrix. As long as you are a client, you have a right to use the design.
Photos and videos that Webotrix produces or supplies specifically for you may be used on your website and social media, unless otherwise stated in the quote.
Payment terms
Invoices are payable within the term stated on the invoice. Have a question about an invoice? Let us know in writing within [to be completed: number of days] days of receipt.
In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to temporarily suspend ongoing services (such as hosting) until the outstanding amount is settled.
Liability
Webotrix provides its services with due care, but cannot be held liable for indirect damage or damage caused by third parties (such as hosting providers or external tools). Our liability is in any case limited to the amount invoiced for the service concerned.
Force majeure
In the event of force majeure (for example a failure at an external supplier), Webotrix may temporarily suspend performance of the agreement without this giving rise to any claim for compensation.
Governing law & jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of [to be completed: judicial district].
